Alan Luxenberg, founder and director of the Wachman Center, is Vice President of FPRI. He received his M.A. in diplomatic history from Temple University and teaches grades 7–10 in two religious schools in the suburbs of Philadelphia. He is the author of The Palestine Mandate and the Creation of Israel, 1920–1949 (Mason Crest, 2007), and his essays have appeared in the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Los Angeles Times, and the Chicago Tribune.
